So there weather here is so strange. It's warm in the morning and night, and freezing during the day. English people LOVE talking about 3 subjects: the weather, their dog, and directions. We always use the 'poor american' bit and say that we're not from around here so please help us and then smoothly tie in the gospel to every conversation. we're way good at it. So this week was crazy miracle week. We teach Bible Class on Wednesdays and there is a 20 year old girl named Olivia that comes, she is Church of England but loves coming to talk about the Bible. My comp told me that she doesn't want to learn lessons from us but she loves talking to us. As we were teaching i had this prompting to talk about the picture of Jesus knocking on a closed door that has no handle. you know, the one about how we have to let Him in? And i said, "So I don't know if it's in the Bible or the Book of Mormon but.." and I said that i thought it was a scripture even though i knew it was just a picture. and after i talked about it Olivia asked if the Book of Mormon brought us comfort and we said yes. After class, she pulled us aside and said that she really wants to feel comfort because she's been stressed out about a lot of things and wants us to teach her about the Book of Mormon so maybe it can bring her comfort. YES. It was the coolest feeling to know that Heavenly Father used me to touch Olivia. Missions are so cool. Also, to refer to my subject of this email, here is why: We taught a man that said when he got his thyroid removed, he was given the Spirit. He said that one night Jesus came and kissed him on the back of his neck. We had to White Handbook bash a gypsy. And everyone's walls in their house are either hot pink, purple, or have crazy wallpaper patterns. So yeah, I love the place to death but England is freaking weird. Well, i love you all and hope you had fantastic weeks. Talk to you soon :)
