Another great week here in Sheffield. LUKAS GOT BAPTISED. It was a lot
of work but he finally got there and I've never been so nervous
watching someone go down into the water. I can't believe we only met
Lukas 4 weeks ago and the CHANGE that I've been able to see in him.
This really has been a testament to me that God has prepared people
for us to teach, we just need to find them! So we will be doing some
more finding this week :)
Yesterday in sacrament meeting, a stake high councilmen spoke about
taking the sacrament and it was SO GOOD. He said:
"If we knew the importance of the sacrament, we would bend over and
crawl on our hands and knees over broken glass to partake of it."
Wow. He spoke about how in the St. George temple there is a picture of
Jesus Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane with an angel by his side and
he's never been so moved by a picture knowing that there was a man who
once lived, who loved us, and would do absolutely anything for us to
return back to our Father in Heaven, and what Jesus Christ went
through was no small task. We really do have a big brother who loves
us so much. And the sacrament is such a special time that we can
REMEMBER Him and find what we can change in our life to come closer to
Remember to remember Him. :)
We got ourselves some bongos and now our flat is lit.
Sister So sent me this package from Hong Kong with little notes
attached to everything. HOW CUTE IS SHE?!
We showed up to ward coordination a little early and crashed the
Elders tea appointment and got the BEST chocolate pizza ever.
Repentance taught, convert baptised :)
